1909 was year when Audi's story started. August Horch founded Audi company, in Cologne. After that Audi will have a lot of great and not so great moments in their business history. Because of some finance problems DKW company will buy Audi. In 1932 Audi is uniting with 3 other car manufacturing companies to create one large and powerful company. 1932 way year when Audi started using it's famous Four ring logo. Four ring logo symbolize four companies which united together to become more powerful car manufacturing companies. After World War I, Audi introduced something new, something that nobody introduced before them. They put steering wheel on the left side, and transmission on the center. Audi was very powerful car manufacturing company then, and it is very powerful today also.
Today Audi is part of German Big 3, it is worldwide popular car brand. You can see Audi's in every corner of world. Their most popular model is Audi A8 - German luxury business limousine.
